Bishop Anthony Scott Rowson

Kingdom Nation Church & Ministries – Baltimore, MD

Anthony Scott Rowson, Sr., born in Mount Vernon, New York, is the youngest of three children raised by the late Elder James Rowson, Sr., and Shirley Rowson. Affectionately known as “Scott” by his family and friends, he embarked on a transformative journey when he relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in 1990 to attend Morgan State University. Unbeknownst to him, this pivotal move would become the dawn of a divine calling that far surpassed the pursuit of higher education.

Soon after his arrival in Maryland, Scott immersed himself in Youth Ministry at the First Apostolic Faith Church, under the
esteemed leadership of Apostle Franklin C. Showell. It wasn’t long before he felt the undeniable and powerful call to ministry.
Answering this divine summons, he undertook rigorous Ministerial Training under the mentorship of his spiritual father, Bishop Showell. Understanding the profound weight of this sacred responsibility, he devoted himself to deep theological study, attending both Logos Mid Atlantic Christian College and Liberty University.

During his collegiate years, Scott met Sheri, a woman who would become the love and unwavering support of his life. Their friendship blossomed into a radiant romance, and on June 27, 1998, they were united in Holy Matrimony. Together, they are the proud parents of three beloved children: Haley Noel, Anthony Scott II, and Haven Sinclair.

In July 1998, Minister Rowson was ordained as an Elder within the Bible Way Churches Worldwide. Known for his extraordinary blend of prophetic insight and pedagogical clarity, he has become widely celebrated as a “prophetic teacher.” This distinctive gift has afforded him the honor of ministering across diverse platforms—ranging from homeless shelters and street ministries to Youth, Leadership, Marriage, Family, and Church Conferences. His life’s work stands as a testament to his
unwavering devotion to God and his profound impact on the kingdom.

In 2016, Pastor Rowson expanded his ministry through the release of his first book, Dying to Live: The Search for Significance, which received high acclaim for its poignant and transparent narrative. This deeply personal work speaks to those seeking healing and purpose, capturing the essence of the silent battles and inner journeys that many face. His storytelling, candid and relatable, has allowed him to minister healing and wholeness in numerous settings, touching lives across the nation.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Pastor Rowson continued his academic journey, achieving a Master of Divinity degree from the Virginia Union University, Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Divinity, in May 2024. In a crowning moment of his ministry, he was consecrated as a Bishop in the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ, Inc., in July 2024, under the esteemed hand of Apostle Willie E. Rookard, presiding prelate. He currently serves this great organization as the chairman of the board
of District Elders and as a member of the board of directors.

Today, Bishop Rowson is recognized as a visionary leader and a progressive voice for the 21st- century Church. As Senior Pastor of Kingdom Nation Church and Ministries, he guides his congregation toward deeper levels of spiritual maturity and divine purpose. His ministry aims not only to transform the lives of his local congregation but also to leave a lasting, transformative impact on hearts and minds worldwide.
