BISHOP DAVID MYRICK, SR.

Bishop David E. Myrick Sr. is a native of Martin County, North Carolina, born to Nathaniel and Mary Myrick. 

 

Bishop Myrick was educated in the Washington, DC Public School System. He received his Associates of Theology Degree from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. Also he is a graduate of Biblical Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. 

 

In 1991, Bishop Myrick began attending the Holy Temple Church of Christ (HTC) under the leadership of the late founder Bishop Joseph Weathers. He was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost in the same year.  He served faithfully at HTC as an usher, Jr. Deacon, Deacon, Minister, Junior Church Director and Teacher, Youth Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, and General Secretary under the tutelage of the late Bishop Joseph Weathers.  He was ordained an Elder in August of 2000 and elected on August 25, 2003 as the Assistant Pastor and currently serves as Pastor of the Holy Temple Church of Christ as appointed by Bishop Weathers.  In addition, Bishop Myrick serves as President of the National Apostolic Fellowship, Inc.

 

Bishop Myrick married his high school sweetheart and now wife of 41 years, First Lady Sheena Myrick. From this union came three beautiful children; Sharlitta (Clinton), Shawntay, and David Jr. (Krysten), and eight grandchildren.

 

Bishop Myrick is an anointed man of God who has a passion for serving God and His people and ensuring that whoever crosses his path hears what “Thus sayeth the Lord.”
