DOCTRINE
We believe in Holiness because God is Holy and has ordained that we should be Holy. "According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before him in love, "Ephesians 1:4. God told us to be Holy. "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all matter of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye Holy; for I am Holy," 1 Peter 1:15, 16. So if you are not holy, you are not pleasing God and have not obeyed Him. "Follow peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord," Hebrews 12:14. We believe in holiness because it is the will of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. It is also a clean life. If one does not wish to live holy, he does not wish to live clean.
We are proud of God's promise to Abraham and His seed: "That He would grant unto us, that being delivered out of the hands of our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life," St. Luke 1:74, 75. I am proud to know that I am saved and we were created by God and for His Glory, so we should present our bodies as living sacrifice, holy and without spot.
I love holiness because it has done so much for me and for so many like me, and He will do the same for you if you will obey His will. It is not His will for you to perish, but to come and be saved. First, you must repent of your sins, and Second, be baptized. How? In the name of Jesus Christ. "Now when they heard this they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the Apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost," Acts 2:37-38. You must be born of the water and spirit before you can enter into the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus had to be born again and so do we. Every man born after the similitude of Adam is under condemnation. Therefore, it is necessary that every man or woman get the new birth.
